To book a WAV taxi ride in Chicago starting July 1st call 1-888-WAV-CABS (888-928-2227) or download the Curb app.

For certified paratransit users who use PACE Taxi Access Program (TAP) payment, at the end of the trip you will need to manually swipe your card in the back of the taxi to deduct a ride. For detailed instructions on doing this, click here

Steps to setup an account:

Press the “Signup” button

After you launch the Curb app, press the “Sign Up” button.

Enter your information

Enter your information and then press “Sign Up”. Once your account is created you’ll receive a text message and will need to reply “curb” to the text message to verify your account.

Press the “Credit Card” button

Press the “Credit Card” button or any other listed payment method to setup your account.

If you are a certified paratransit users who use PACE Taxi Access Program (TAP) payment, you can not enter your TAP card for a payment method. Instead, at the end of the trip, you will need to manually swipe your card in the back of the taxi to deduct a ride. Enter your account details

Enter your account details and then press “Done”.

Read through the terms

Read through the terms and press the small circle button next to “I have read and agree to the above Terms of Service. Then press the “Accept” button.

Steps to Book a WAV Trip:

Press the “Ride Now” button

After you launch the Curb app, press the “Ride Now” button in the center of the screen.

Press the “Car” button

Press the “Car” button with the car icon to bring up the Accessible Wheelchair button.

Press the “Accessible” button

Press the “Accessible” button with the wheelchair icon so that it is selected and then press the “Search destination” button.

Press the “Search Destination” bar

After you press “Search Destination” bar, input the address where you need to go.

Press the “Request Accessible” button

After you press “Request Accessible”, press and drag the map so that the pin will be on your exact pickup location.

Press the “Confirm Pickup” button

After you press “Confirm Pickup”, you will be assigned a taxi.

Steps to setup your default to WAV

Press the “3 bars” button

After you press “bars button”, press “Profile”.

Press the “Profile” button

Press the “Profile” button.

Press the “Accessible Preferred” button

After you press “Accessible Preferred” button it will toggle to green and you are set.
