Curb is now providing taxis as an alternative transportation solution for MetroAccess passengers in the DMV area. Our service consists of quick transportation to and from your location while informing passengers about their ride via text message. Passengers can schedule rides at their own convenience by calling our 24/7 call center and request wheelchair accessible vehicles if necessary. How to schedule a Curb ride?

- Press “1” for riders to speak to a call center agent
- Inform the agent you are a Curb passenger and want to schedule a ride
- Provide the following information to the call center agent
- Full Name
- Phone number
- MetroAccess ID#
- Pick up and drop off address
- Request a wheelchair accessible vehicle if needed
Passengers will receive a text message update informing them of the status of their transportation.

- Inform the agent you are a Curb passenger and would like to add additional destinations to your approved list
- Provide the following information to the call center agent
- Client ID#
- Full Name
- Address of the requested facility, hospital or pharmacy
The approval process for new Curb passengers takes 5-7 business days. A representative from Curb will reach out to you by phone call, text message and email to inform you of your updated status.

Who we are?
Curb is a technology company that helps facilitate transportation with taxis. Curb is currently working with WMATA on their abilities-ride program providing taxis as an alternative transportation solution to individuals as part of the MetroAccess Program. Curb is the official Taxi-limousine-paratransit association (TLPA) endorsed ride-hailing platform with wheelchair accessible vehicles available on demand.
Who are Curb Drivers?
Curb drivers are DOT certified and follow the ADA code of ethics. Background checks and drug tests are also conducted on Curb drivers to help ensure professionalism and customer safety.
Who is eligible for service?
Any individual who is part of the MetroAccess program can become a potential Curb Passenger.

Where can I go with Curb?
For the abilities-ride program, Curb passengers are only allowed to travel to and from hospitals, medical facilities, pharmacies and other locations that have been approved. Curb passengers are able to request to have additional locations by contacting our support team at 202-800-5596. Once a location is approved a Curb representative will reach back out to you.
How much does Curb cost me?
Curb Passengers that are part of the abilities-ride program ride with Curb for free. (Passengers currently incur no cost)
